Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your purchase—but if you’re not fully satisfied, we accept returns for store credit or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order.
Return Guidelines:
- Store credit is issued for the item’s value only (excluding shipping, discounts, and promos).
- A $15 prepaid return label is available for domestic returns and deducted from your credit.
- International customers are responsible for all return shipping, duties, and taxes.
- Items must be unworn, with tags attached, and in perfect condition. If the item is returned worn, we will refuse the return and you won't receive your store credit.
How to Return:
- Email us at hello@formalist.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and note whether you want store credit or an exchange (include item / style / size for exchanges).
- Once you receive your Return Authorization (RA) from us, the item must be postmarked within 5 days.
- Returns without an RA number are subject to a 50% restocking fee and will delay processing.
Important Notes:
- Store credit only—we do not issue refunds.
- Sale items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
- Once your return has been processed, you’ll receive an email with your store credit or shipping confirmation for exchanges.
- Items worn, damaged, altered, or returned without prior approval with an Return Authorization will be sent back.
